Everybody has a different motivation for wanting to play a musical instrument. For some people their choice of instrument is shared by an appreciation of a particular style of music; while others decide to learn simply because their friends or relatives play already. Yet in the majority of cases, the principal deciding factor is the sound it makes. And who could fail to be impressed by the beautiful and persuasive, yet complete sound of the modern piano: an instrument that is as sympathetic to jazz and contemporary idioms as it is to Classical repertoire.
But before you embark on your musical journey, think carefully about choosing an experienced and qualified professional. Whilst most amateur musicians should be able to correct errors in notes and rhythm, only a professional teacher with specialist knowledge and skills will understand what it takes to develop your piano playing across a more expansive and challenging plane. And that's something I've been doing for over twenty years.
Take your time to explore my website so you can learn more about who I am and what I can do to help you realise your piano aspirations. Should you have any questions or if you would like to enquire about the availability of a space, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
